In giving, I learnt the art of living!

Sometimes when people discuss service, it is considered to be a free transaction. It may be this way, but it need not be.
Service really refers to the way the action is executed; whether there is a financial transaction is irrelevant. Whether there is recognition for the work carried out is unimportant.
The main criteria for service is that there is joy in giving. There is pure pleasure in making another person’s life a bit better.

She received the iPad as an educational gift from Circle of Life Foundation that focuses on supporting the educational needs of underprivileged kids.

We are all capable of service. It can occur on a small scale within the home. It can extend to our workplace and in our relationships. It may be charitable or it may be paid. Or it can be bigger and wider extending to communities and counties. There are many examples of individuals who served in ways much bigger than their small individual selves. Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, just to name a few.
They had a vision and a cause that was big, and even though there was risk to themselves and their own survival, their purpose to serve carried them through all adversity.
Service beyond self is what they lived for.

Would you like to join me on my mission?
I was the first medical doctor in my family, both from Mum’s and Dad’s sides. I realised the power of education and how it had allowed me to become an instrument in being of service to others. I am convinced that education can truly change lives, which is why I have committed to dedicate my life work towards this mission.
I invite you be a part of this journey so together we can make a genuine difference in the lives of these needs kids.
Circle of Life Foundation exercises due diligence to ensure that our resources are being put to use appropriately for the needy.
For this, I am ever so grateful to my network of friends, colleagues and acquaintances, who identify deserving kids for me, who we can support.
Discover. Empower. Prosper.
