The Loop of Thinking, Feeling, Being

The Loop of Thinking, Feeling, Being

Ever experienced a negative thought? That boss, relative or co worker, who betrayed you! Stay in this state and you can actually “feel” this ball of negative energy growing inside of you. The more you think these thoughts the more this ball grows.

Notice how it started with just a thought. Until, as you gave it more and more energy, it turned into a real “event” of itself, almost appearing alive.

It appeared alive because of the “feelings” that it has stirred up.

the thinking loop

Every human being experiences the “feelings” of isolation and separation at different times of life. While the sensations of loneliness and disconnect are very painful, and feel very real, especially in these COVID times, existentially we are never disconnected or separate.

We ARE unique individuals however, and yet always deeply interconnected.

So what has this got to do with my topic for the next Radical Wellness class?

Well, feeling a certain way causes you to think a certain way. This then causes you to act a certain way. Particular thoughts inspire particular actions and encourage particular emotions.
This is a loop that most of us find ourselves in, during these times and we struggle to recognise it because we are so caught up in the story.

See you don’t know what you don’t know.

That’s called being Unconsciously Incompetent

And there is credence in the quote:
“When you change your thinking, you change your life”.

Our next Radical Wellness Class will focus on the above concepts and get practical insights on how we can understand better on how our thoughts become our reality.

This practical 90 minute class will also give you an opportunity to engage in a practical mind body exercise and also give you a taste of meditation (in case you are a beginner)

Feel the feeling
